Sudoku

A challenging puzzle game where you fill the empty squares on a 9 by 9 grid with numbers so each column, row and 3 by 3 section contain all the numbers 1 to 9. Each number from 1 to 9 can appear only once. Click here to learn more about Sudoku. This version is written in Javascript using a canvas html element. Plays best with PC and mouse.

How to play:

  1. Click CLICK HERE TO START.
  2. Click the triangles to choose a difficulty and puzzle.
  3. Once you choose a puzzle click PLAY GAME.
  4. Click on an empty square in the 9 by 9 grid to select it. The selected square has a yellow border.
  5. Click on one of the numbers in the 3 by 3 grid to enter a number in the selected square.
    Click the same number to clear the selected square.
  6. Repeat this action until all of the empty squares are filled.
  7. A message appears if you guess all the correct numbers, otherwise keep guessing.
  8. Click SOLUTION if you're stuck. Click QUIT if you want to start a new puzzle.
