Dots

A puzzle game based on the source code from Dots. It's quite a challenging game, so I wrote my own javascript version. I made a few modifications so it would fit better on a mobile device. The object of the game is to guess which circles contain "dots". The numbers along the top and under each row show how the dots are grouped in each row and column. Each group of dots is separated by at least one empty circle. Plays best with PC and mouse.

How to play:

  1. Choose a grid size and percentage. Higher percentages usually mean more dots.
  2. Click New to create a new puzzle. The numbers (hints) should change each time you click.
  3. If you think a circle has a dot, click on it to place a black marker.
  4. If you think a circle is empty, click twice to place an orange marker. The orange markers are optional.
  5. Click three times to clear the circle.
  6. A "Correct!" window pops open if you guess all the correct dots.
  7. Click Erase if you want to start over. Click Answer if you're stuck.
