Break

Break is a web-based puzzle game based on the "Mastermind" board game. Click here to learn more about Mastermind. This version is written in Javascript using a canvas html element. Plays best with PC and mouse.

How to play:

1. Click on a Skill Level. Higher numbers enable more tokens.
2. Click New Game to start a new game. Clicking a different Skill Level also starts a new game.
3. The game generates a random hidden sequence of four tokens each time you start a new game.
4. Click on token (button) to fill a row.
5. Once a row is filled click on Check Row to analyze your guess.
6. Depending on your guess, you'll see black and white orbs beside the row.
7. A black orb means you guessed the correct location of one of the tokens.
8. A white orb means a correct token but wrong location.
9. Keep guessing until until you see four black orbs.
10. Click Show Solution any time to see the answer.
